Champaign County CASA

Champaign County CASA believes every child deserves to have a safe, healthy, & permanent home. We recruit, train, and support our volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children, who are victims of abuse and neglect. Volunteers, along with our staff and attorneys ensure that children who are in foster care, are safe and have the opportunity to thrive. CASA is appointed by judges to advocate for children’s best interests. We stay with each case until it is closed and the child is in a safe, permanent home. We serve nearly all children in care in Champaign County, from birth through the age 21.
CASA’s volunteers, staff, and attorneys work with legal and child welfare professionals, educators and service providers to ensure that judges have all the information they need to make the most well-informed decisions for each child. Together, we make a life-changing difference for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and for the community in which they live.
